Grok Bot Pricing 2026: Plans, Usage and What It Costs

Last updated

Teal GROK BOT GUIDE card headlined Grok Bot Pricing 2026: Plans, Usage and What It Costs, footer cnrcode.com/guides.

Checked against official xAI and Cursor plan pages on November 3, 2026. If a page did not show a figure, the table says unverified. No price on this page is estimated.

Grok Bot does not have a price of its own. It is included with some subscriptions and left off others. This page lists every plan the official pages say includes it, with the price those pages showed and the date we checked. For what the product does and who it is for, see What Is Grok Bot? What It Does and Who It's For.

Plans that include Grok Bot

New self-serve customers choose The X Subscription. Existing Cursor, SuperGrok, and X Premium plans continue unless you switch (X Subscription pricing). Monthly prices for Premium, Super, and Ultra on Cursor pricing matched the docs on the same day. The docs write the Super and Ultra annual prices as $1000/yr and $2000/yr. Cursor pricing help writes $1,000/yr and $2,000/yr. The amounts are the same, so the table uses the comma form.

Annual prices are not listed on the official pages for the plans that do not show one above.

Dollar figures in the table are USD list prices before tax, except where the cell says unverified or Custom. The X Subscription docs say list prices do not include sales tax (X Subscription pricing). Third-party models in Cursor are not part of these prices. On The X Subscription they are billed from prepaid credit at API list price (X Subscription pricing).

Free is $0. Plus is $8 a month, or $80 a year. Neither includes Grok Bot (X Subscription pricing). SuperGrok Lite does not include Grok Bot either (Plans and billing). Grok Enterprise is not in the table: help says to contact an account manager about access, and no public price was on the pages checked.

A Cursor plan and a SuperGrok or X Premium+ link can both stay active and keep billing. The two usage grants do not add together. Grok Bot uses whichever one is larger (Plans and billing).

How usage is counted

How usage is counted, what happens at the limit, and how to make a weekly allowance last are in Grok Bot Usage Limits Explained (and How to Make Them Last). This page does not repeat that guide.

A month of call briefs

Here is a worked month for a small business with one salesperson who prepares several call briefs each weekday. The AI cost calculator adds list prices. It does not turn a number of briefs into a usage estimate.

  1. Open that calculator link. It selects only Grok Premium, which is the lowest individual plan in the tool that includes Grok Bot. Leave Claude and ChatGPT unchecked, or the total will add those subscriptions too.
  2. Leave Seats at 1. Grok Premium is a one-person plan.
  3. Leave Extra at 0. That field is top-up money you expect to buy, not a count of briefs.
  4. Leave Models at 0. That field is third-party model spend in Cursor, which the list price does not include.

The calculator then shows $30 a month and $360 a year, before tax. The $30 is the Grok Premium monthly list price stored in the calculator, and it matches the monthly price on the X Subscription pricing docs checked November 3, 2026. The $360 is twelve times that monthly price. The calculator does not offer Grok's $300 annual plan. If you pay annually, use $300 from the table above, not the calculator's yearly line.

If you want room for top-ups, type 20 in Extra. The same screen then shows $50 a month and $600 a year ($30 plus the $20 you typed). That $20 is your input. It is not a price xAI publishes for call briefs. Whether a week of briefs fits in the included allowance is covered in the usage limits guide.

Where official sources disagree

These conflicts were on the official pages on November 3, 2026. This section used to live on the what Grok Bot is guide.

  1. Shared or separate usage. The launch post and the later "more plans" post say Grok Bot "comes with its own usage, separate from your Grok and Cursor plans" (launch; more plans). The X Subscription pricing docs say Bot usage draws from the shared weekly pool (pricing docs). Our reading: the posts describe the older plans, and the shared pool applies on The X Subscription.
  2. Plus versus "every paid plan." The Cursor docs overview says Grok Bot is included with every paid individual Cursor plan (Cursor docs). The X Subscription pricing docs say Plus does not include Grok Bot, and the Cursor pricing comparison marks Grok Bot from Premium upward, not on Plus or Free (pricing docs; Cursor pricing). Cursor help agrees that Plus and Free do not include it (plans).
  3. Which plans the overviews name. The xAI docs overview names The X Subscription (Premium, Super, and Ultra, including team seats), legacy paid Cursor plans, Cursor Teams, SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, X Premium+, and a Grok Business seat (overview). The Cursor docs overview does not mention The X Subscription or X Premium+. It names paid individual Cursor plans, Cursor Teams, the SuperGrok tiers, and a Grok Business seat (Cursor docs).
  4. Enterprise. Cursor pricing marks Grok Bot included on Enterprise and lists the price as Custom (Cursor pricing). Cursor help tells Cursor Enterprise customers to consult an account executive to enable access (plans).
  5. Cursor Start. Cursor Start costs ₹649 per month, tax inclusive, and that page does not mention Grok Bot (Cursor Start). The xAI overview's line about every paid individual legacy plan could be read as including Start, and the Cursor help matrix does not name Start. Start is not in the table because inclusion is not confirmed.
  6. Android. Both the xAI docs overview and the Cursor docs overview now list Android, along with macOS, Windows, Linux, and iOS (xAI overview; Cursor docs). Those two pages no longer disagree on Android.

When a price or a plan name conflicts, treat X Subscription pricing and Cursor pricing as the current price list, and your own account's plan screen as the final word.
