This policy describes how the Milestone Mojo mobile app collects, uses, and stores information when you track birthdays and anniversaries for contacts you add yourself.

2. What the app does

Milestone Mojo helps you remember birthdays and anniversaries for people in your life. You manually enter contact-related information in the app.

3. We do not operate our own servers for this app

CNR Consulting does not run application servers or databases for Milestone Mojo. App data you save is stored using Google Firebase (specifically Cloud Firestore), and usage analytics may be collected through Google Analytics. Processing of that data is subject to Google’s infrastructure and policies in addition to this policy.

4. Information we process

Contact and milestone data (Firestore)

When you enter information into the app, it may be stored in Firestore so it can sync or persist across sessions and devices, depending on how the app is built. This may include, for example:

Names or labels you assign to contacts
Birthdays, anniversaries, or similar dates you choose to track
Other fields the app lets you enter (such as notes), only as you provide them

You control what you enter. Do not enter sensitive information you are not comfortable storing in cloud-backed services protected by your account and Google’s security measures.

Analytics (Google Analytics)

We may use Google Analytics to understand how the app is used—for example, which screens are viewed or how often features are used—in aggregated or pseudonymous form. Analytics may rely on identifiers and device or usage data as described in Google’s documentation.

To maintain and improve reliability and performance of the app

6. Legal basis (where applicable)

If laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on grounds such as performance of a contract (providing the app), legitimate interests (securing and improving the service, limited analytics), and, where required, consent (for example, for certain analytics or optional features), as applicable in your region.

7. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers as described above (Google for Firebase Firestore and Google Analytics). Those providers process data under their terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

8. Retention and deletion

Data in Firestore is kept until you delete it in the app (if the app supports deletion), delete your account, or we delete data as part of service changes. Analytics data may be retained according to Google Analytics settings and policies. If you need data removed and cannot do so in the app, contact us at [email protected] and we will assist where reasonably possible.

9. Security

We rely on Firebase and Google’s security practices for stored data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; use the app only on devices you trust and protect your account credentials.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object or port data. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

11. Children

Milestone Mojo is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

12. International users

Data processed through Firebase and Google may be stored and processed in the United States and other countries where Google operates facilities. By using the app, you understand that your information may be transferred to those locations.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this URL and revise the “Last updated” date below. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, where permitted by law.
